What hood is for
Four things, all of them local.
Not a directory of the whole city. Everything here is inside one neighbourhood — close enough that the person cooking your dinner or fixing your fan lives a few streets away.
🍛
Eat what the street is cooking
Browse the home kitchens around you, see tonight's menu, and order. Cakes for a birthday, a week of lunch dabbas, biryani on Sunday.
- Real menus & prices
- FSSAI badge where held
- Track the delivery
🔧
Book help you can hold accountable
Electricians, plumbers, cleaners, tailors, appliance repair. Pick a slot, see the rate before you book, and rate them afterwards.
- Rates up front
- Slot booking
- Identity verified
🎓
Find classes within walking distance
School tuition, coding, music, dance, martial arts. Taught by people in your own neighbourhood, so there's no commute to argue about.
- Tuition & coaching
- Music & arts
- Sports coaching

Why the reviews mean something
A rating from your own street beats a rating from the internet.
Every business on hood shows you two numbers: what everyone thinks, and what the people near you think. They are often not the same number.
-
✓
Real people, named
Every reviewer verifies their mobile number and their name sits beside what they wrote. One review each — no pile-ons.
-
✓
Your neighbours come first
Reviews from inside your 2 km are shown at the top, with their street, before the crowd average.
-
✓
hood takes no cut on contact
Found someone? Call or WhatsApp them directly. We don't sit in the middle of that conversation.

Getting started
Three minutes, then you're in.
No forms, no subscription, no card.

Your mobile number
One code by SMS. That number is what makes your review count later.
STEP 02
We find your hood
Confirm where you live and hood draws your 2 km circle. That circle is your whole app.
STEP 03
Order, book or ask
Dinner tonight, a plumber tomorrow, a tutor for next term. Or post what you need and wait.
